Uniform
We have a basic and practical uniform for our children's classes in ballet, jazz and tap.
New students do not need to have correct uniform for their first lesson! Allow a couple of weeks (and a look in the second hand goods cupboard at Ashwood) before venturing to purchase special footwear and hosiery.
Students are expected to be neat and tidy for classes, and are welcome to outgrow any current gear before replacing it with our uniform.
Creative Classes
There are no uniform requirements for Dance Play or Creative Kids, or Creative Arts Playgroup. Children in these sessions just need easy to move in clothing, such as leggings, bare feet and stretchy comfortable tops. Skirts and hipster trousers tend to hinder movement and are not the best choices!
Adult Classes
There are no uniform requirements for adults classes on commencement, however once a commitment to regular classes is made we strongly recommend the purchase of appropriate dance shoes for the style, and other dance wear for the student's comfort.
