Bethany Moutray

Junior Teacher

Bethany started to dance when she was 4yrs old, beginning with tap and ballet in Port Fairy. Once moving to Melbourne, Bethany became a student at BDC and began to trial a range of other dance styles, including jazz and contemporary. Bethany completed VCE dance Units 3/4 at BDC studios in 2017, and has been a part of our community for 12yrs. She has coached school Aerobic Competition teams outside of BDC, implementing her cohesive dance knowledge and skills.

Spending many years in ballet classes sparked an interest in the human body. Her transition into pointe shoes gave her a fascination of alignment and foot anatomy which ultimately encouraged her to consider podiatry as a future career.

Bethany values each student individually, encouraging them to enjoy themselves at dance. She strives to educate and develop safe techniques for students, developing their skills.

Currently studying Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Podiatric Practice – La Trobe University, Melbourne Bethany teaches: Jazz & Tap
