Dee commenced her formal training with a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and trained at Mangala Studios to become a creative dance teacher.
Dee began her years on stage at the age of 3 and has spent many years performing, directing, and choreographing in a wide variety of theatre productions throughout Victoria, New South Wales, and South Australia. She has a wide presence in the community, specialising in youth community theatre opportunities. During their inception, Dee was involved in the Victorian Drama Leagues Summer School programs and was nominated for a John Monash Award for services to community theatre.
Dee has also been the resident Drama and Creative Movement teacher at Burrinja Cultural Centre for the past 17 years and is part of a team that has been sharing the arts experience in primary schools throughout the Dandenong ranges community.
Dee continues to share her passion for the arts in her unique and engaging teaching style here at BDC throughout weekly Drama and Musical Theatre classes while offering extension to students through coaching Solos, Duos, and Troupes in acting and voice training.
